How RB Global Drops Work

RB Global uses scheduled preorder windows and consolidated international shipments to make live-plant imports more deliberate and predictable.

1. Wishlist + sourcing

We track what collectors in each destination market are actually looking for, then source plants that make sense for the route, season, plant type, and economics.

2. Drop announced

Each drop identifies the eligible destination region or countries, available plants, preorder deadline, expected import window, and the charges known at that stage.

3. Preorder window

Customers reserve from the approved drop assortment. We use real orders to determine quantities rather than importing speculative inventory.

4. Drop confirmation

Once supplier availability, route requirements, and any stated minimum threshold are satisfied, the consolidated shipment moves forward. If a planned drop cannot proceed, the applicable cancellation or refund terms published for that drop will apply.

5. Export preparation

Plants are prepared for the route and required export documentation or phytosanitary processing is coordinated as applicable.

6. Consolidated import

Orders travel together to the destination market rather than as routine individual international parcels.

7. Destination handoff

After import clearance, plants move into the destination distribution or final-mile process described for that specific drop.

8. Updates

Customers receive milestone updates as the drop moves from preorder to sourcing, export, transit, import, and distribution.

Important: Live plants are time-sensitive biological products. Exact transit and clearance timing can shift. We will publish the route-specific terms before each preorder opens rather than make one blanket promise for every country.
